Mouse and Editing a Song
I have noticed that if you don't keep your mouse pointer in the edit area, you can sometimes loose the cursor in the field you are trying to edit
and when you use keys like the backspace key, you end up changing the right pane like you are navigating it.

I've noticed this as well. Also, when using the "info" feature looking up year etc, when I'm typing in on the website it seems as
if the shortcut keys are still active. Many times EJ goes into minimize mode where it shrinks down. The focus is lost many times and gets quite
frustrating because I'm just trying to type but the keys I'm hitting must be shortcut keys

I posted on this same issue on 4-24. If you type at least one character, then the focus will stay in the box. Just like you guys, I still launch my
fair share of shortcuts thinking that I'm typing in the text area.
Just clicking in the box and not having to type a character is the way it should behave.
Maybe it's inherent to the control and difficult to change?
