Music Video Jukebox
Hi,
I am in the process of moving from one jukebox app to another, and that one is ejuke..
I only run music video's and they are sorted by: Folder\Artist\Song Title.
I have cover art for each song withing the artist folder. I dont work with albums as most of these tracks are number one's etc.
Now my question is, is it possible for ejuke to use my current song.jpg for the current song.wmv playing.
Hope i have explained myself ok.
Really love this app, and want to continue using it as it develops.

hmm i could probably update it so the database import can handle it.
are your images like this?
ArtistName/songname.wmv
ArtistName/songname.jpg
ArtistName/songnametwo.wmv
ArtistName/songnametwo.jpg
?
or is it different?

OK here it is 
this exe automatically imports mediafilename.jpg for the cover art when matched to the mediafilename.??? during database setup
this improvement will be included in v5.47
thanks for the suggestion!
you can test it out now if you like
shutdown EJukebox and replace over your existing C:\EJukebox\ejukebox.exe

Ok, Tried it out, Took a moment but now my song art shows up on the right side. under album view (but doesn't need to) thumbs show up in the next
song bar and que, but not in the main cover display. top l/h side of screen.
Has a couple of issues, but as you pumped this out in an afternoon, i can wait till you release an update.
Gets a little confusing with music videos as there usually are no albums only a selection of tracks for a particular artist..
might have to re-sort my 3000 music vids into another type of format to suit the app...
for some reason even though i have my folder setup as
root/musicvids/artist1/song1.wmv
root/musicvids/artist2/song1.wmv
etc, when the track is played the app shows
eg: long way to the top and artist as L (and not the actual artist name)
or stairway to heaven and artist as S
seems to be only picking up the first letter of the track name and using it as the artist name..
edit: The artist name is in the album name list, could it be this causing some of the issues...

EJukebox currently likes:
Artist - Album (Year)\(Track#) Artist - Title.???
and shorter variations...
album/artist-title.wmv
or
artist - album/title.wmv

cool, will have a go at renaming a few over the weekend and see if that fixes the sorting problems,

all done, found a little app called batch rename utility, allowed me to append the folder name to the file name. all looks good so far....!

only issue left by the looks of it, is that the cover wont show up in the cover window, only shows a white box?. if i right click to edit, the
automatic search has found an image but wont poke it into the screen.
anyway, something to look at in a future release....
