EJukebox v5.38
Full and Upgrade installers are now available for v5.38 at http://audiosoft.net/download.htm
For smallest download do Tools->Check for New Version in EJukebox
v5.36 updated the way EJukebox determines if a file exists...in order to make EJ faster. Among other things this should make the cover image cached
image detection perform about twice as fast. So the Album List should Refresh faster plus Shelf3D/Carousel A-Z and the songlist should load a bit
faster.
In addition v5.36 included Shelf3D auto-listing. Instead of having to click the center album in Shelf3D in will list the songs after clicking the side
covers or mouse scroll wheeling. There is a slight delay before it does this so that you can still freely move through the albums. If the album name
already exists in the songlist it will focus the album instead of listing it. Clicking the center album will force listing of only that album like it
did before.

-Tag Editor now supports editing 3 digit track number
-database import now detects multiple CD albums via 3 digit track number leading the file name (when # >= 201) even when the track# tag only
contains 0-2 digits
-supports file name and tag track # for CD2 as 201, 202, 203, CD3 as 301, 302, 303 etc

-improves speed of those focuses and makes the item selected in the songlist ready for keyboard <- -> manipulation
-max songlist results for artist song listings is now 500 unless max songlist results display option is greater. this should allow the album list to
always function well with album list option "View All Songs by Artist on Click" checked and removing the need to page the songlist for artists

Thanks Audiosoft. until now it seems this version is faster to load covers, well at least psychologically!  i need to see more on the long run. i like the new shelf3d auto-listing. good idea, no need to click! but why do i
need to move the mouse over the shelf3d between each album? i don't know if you added that intentionally or not? if i don't move the mouse over the
shelf3d the scroll wheel doesn't work anymore, and the auto-listing neither..

Pirk, that is because the songlist gets focus when the songlist loads so that the keyboard/remote arrows work for songlist items. i'll try to make it
refocus the shelf when the mouse in on the same spot so you can keep wheeling...right now it only refocuses it when you move the mouse to a different
cover in the shelf.

this Beta 3 seems perfect! the scroll wheel and arrows now work good for autolisting. i like much when i feel that things have been well thinked, not
just added "foolishly"!
-i noticed that autoscrolling displays a empty page when it's a compilation album with several artists.

wow Audiosoft! carousel paging is a excellent idea. it works good!
maybe could you add the 'origin' and 'end' keyboard buttons to go directly to the first or the last album in the current carousel page? and also
Page Up/Page Down buttons to go directly to the next/previous carousel page.

brice, bien content que ce screenshot te plaise. en fait si je pouvais sortir mon skin sans les css, je le mettrai bien plus souvent à disposition.
car là il est encore tout en chantier dans les fichiers dis et aussi le répertoire du skin avec plein de choses inutiles dedans. le plus dur c'est
de tout trier pour supprimer ce qui ne sert à rien, nettoyer les fichiers.. alors que j'adore continuer à essayer de nouveaux trucs dans mon
"riche bordel". je sais pas si tu comprendra ce que je veux dire! Merci.

les fichiers songlist.dis, nowplaying.dis, playlist.dis... c'est dans ces fichiers qu'on fait son skin. tu devrais essayer!

Audiosoft, it works good but sometimes the shelf3d becomes like blocked. it don't move anymore while the autoscrolling still works in the songlist.

yeah i know its a little better in v5.37
but shelf3d still crashing after AutoScrolling for awhile in my tests

ah ok it's not just me. but it seems that not occurs very often. the autoscrolling is very pleasant to use.

it seems it now works good with v5.38! well i just tried the 0 key which was not working for me after 12 key presses. what it was Audiosoft?

New updates seem to have really speed up the loads and seems to run better on my low end PC.
