Any way to support non IE browsers
In this time of touchscreen mobile phones, it would be really interesting to create a basic page that could be controlled and rendered by a non IE
browser. I can't find any way to modify the files natively, so I need to ask you to to take a look. It could even be accessed by an alternative url.
Ie a different webpage, which would probably be better anyway preserving the original design and function of the 'full' version with streaming etc.
I'd be happy to take a look on this front, if you'd show me where the hooks are. It would make 2web that much more valuable too.

Seriously, that was a serious lack about Ejukebox back in 2003.
I can't believe the non-progress of 2Web... I would really hate to switch to another jukebox because this one doesn't keep up.
It would've been easier to just make a 2Web without ActiveX to begin with, now we're stuck with it.
It's the main reason I didn't buy the full version, didn't feel 2web was worth it being IE only and all.. And in 2008 it's still not worth it,
especially with no iPhone support... ??

Here was the reply:

2Web v3.0 password feature fails in Firefox
I'm trying to access my music from the web interface using Firefox but because I have a password enabled in 2Web it does not go onto the next screen
after I enter the password. Is there a setting change I need to make in 2Web or my Firefox browser to make the password feature work?

My PW works fine as a holdover from 2.6
This is the issue I would see when trying to use 2.6 with a password on Firefox or other non-IE browser. Have you tried clearing your cache
(cntrl+F5). Are you sure you're on 3.0?

eJukebox 2Web v3.0 listefd on the password screen and using eJukebox beta 31. I've tried to log on from several computers with Firefox but the
password screen won't accept the password and move on to the now playing screen. Seems to work fine in Firefox if I don't require a password.

You could try running FF in 'safe mode' to rule out a plugin that might be horking things up. Have you tried an alternate browse such as Chrome to
rule out if this is a FF specific issue or if the behavior is being driven by the server?

Has anyone else tried Firefox and 2Web with the password feature set that has it working ok?
As far as trying chrome I either use Firefox or IE for my access to the Web I normally use IE for 2Web. I'm just trying to give a friend that uses
Firefox on his MAC access to my music list.

My point with chrome, or opera, or seamonkey or any other browser was mearly using it as a control to try to track down if it's a FF error, a plugin
error, or a server error.

Could someone else turn on their 2web password and try Firefox so we could let Audiosoft know if this is a bug?
