eJukebox.9 sub
Audiosoft.
I have an error that pops up every once in a while. If I don't shut down eJ by the task manager after this error, the eJ database gets corrupted and
I lose my ej, need to go to a back up and resync!
The error pops up (at least last night) when you right click to edit a song in the songlist.
372 eJukebox.9 sub ControlVisualFailed To Load Control 'Chameleon Button' from ____ . (spaces there..not dashes after from...)
Your Version of May Be Outdated Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application
If I click ok it pops up again and again. I must use taskmanager.
What does this mean? How do I get rid of it? It hoses the machine pretty good.
Thanks
Don

I searched the whole machine last night for a "chameleon" file. Just a few MP3s, nothing else.
This eJ hasn't been COMPLETELY rebuilt, ever. I just keep applying the updates. Is there something there that could cause it? I cannot rebuild it. It
has to keep the same db.

I believe that error just means that eJukebox ran out of graphical work space/system resources or that the runtime files needed by eJukebox are not up
to date. You can make a backup copy of your ejuke.asn and db.m3u files if you are worried. Then, shutdown eJukebox and download and run the attached
runtime installation file and let me know if it happens again in eJukebox or not.
Attachment: eJukeboxRuntimes.exe (1004.27kb)

I can't shake it
Audiosoft,
I still have this problem. I reloaded a fresh 4.6 and put my m3u and asn files in and that worked. eJ lives, but I still get this error.
I use my own skin to get the fonts larger. Is that a problem? My buddy uses the same skin... ewww....

Maybe something wrong in your colors.ini. That is the only thing I can think of . See if you get the error with the default skin. If not...can you
send me your skin so i can try to locate the problem?

Audiosoft:
The default skin seems to have fixed it. I will recreate a new skin (we use huge fonts) Thanks for the tip
