Has anyone tested on Vista yet?

I've just retired my WinXP for Vista RTM. Has anyone tries eJ on it yet?

To make things even more challenging for me, I'm running the x64 version of Vista.

P.S. - Audiosoft, I assume I'll need a code from you to even TRY installing my copy of eJ to this new box? Can you send details to my U2U box here?

jhlurie,

I think I remember Pirk saying he was running eJukebox on Vista without issue.

Did you signup for an email/password registration account yet? If not follow the instructions Here

Hi jhlurie!

Exactly Audiosoft, eJukebox works perfectly on Vista, no problem for me. :)
But I use a 32 bits test version, not 64 bits.. I don't know if that can cause any compatibility issues?

I am pretty sure 32 bit apps like eJukebox will run well under the 64 bit version of Vista. The way I understand it is the only thing that must be in 64 bit is the system hardware drivers (sound, video, etc).

OK Audiosoft. I think that in the 64 bit version, it exists a "adapter layer" for 32 bit apps which is totally transparent to the user.. But it will be interesting to know how eJukebox behaves in 64 bit systems!

One thing I have heard is that if the application contains any legacy 16-bit code, that can cause problems with the 32-bit emulator.
