I think it strips out Albums from the Album list view that are marked as compilations, like Now62, etc.

rlailey is correct. Compilations are albums that have tracks by different artists. The option will allow you to either show or hide compilations in
the album list.

Which makes me think. What about an option to have compilations downmost in the albumlist? Why, you may ask? Because one may have a lot of compilation
albums, without listening on them by intention very often. Would also be fine when sorting the albums by popularity.
Also a separate heading for soundtracks could be practical. Soundtracks are not necessarly compilations, but would still be nice to be able to sort
them out from "normal" artist albums in the albumlist. Under a separate heading. At least I think so

I agree, I would also prefer to have compilations at the end of the albumlist.

How about if when show compilations is enabled ...
the album list loads compilations at the top but makes them hidden. There would be a link at the top of the album list that you can click to View
Compilations. That way (by clicking the link) you can show and hide them in realtime.

I think that's a very good idea Audiosoft!
A realtime "show/hide compilations" button or link would be quite perfect, at least for my part. And maybe a second link for soundtracks...
Thanks.

on second thought...having the show/hide solution would cause problems for keyboard only users. Let me see if I can get the albums to appear at the
bottom of the list.

OK I have updated eJukebox so that the album list puts compilations at the end of the list instead of at the top. Also made it so Z jumps to the
bottom of the list if there is no album with an artist name that starts with Z....that way you can jump to the compilations.

Thanks!!! This is the BEST way. I for one ALWAYS want to see my compilations, but I also prefer them at the end instead of at the top. So this
solution is much better then a show/hide toggle where the compilations still would have been at the top if enabled.
