eJukebox v3.991 : List of Updates
v3.991 is out and now available for Download...
Here is a list of updates over v3.99:
-Album List is now cached between sessions. Full List button will change to Refresh when viewing a cached list. Clicking Full List restores last
completed full listing. You can now do an album list Search then click "Full List" to restore the cached master list.
-added support for folder.jpg album cover images. eJukebox will now use cover.jpg or folder.jpg in the song's folder for the cover image when the id3
tag does not have an embeded image. Id3 tag encoded images now take precedent over cover.jpg and folder.jpg during db setup/add new files.
-fixed maximized and fullscreen under 1024x768 so it does not change the current EDV size
-fixed ReadinPlaylist not working when has no path for songs - now appends path of playlist file like it used to
-fixed star rating keyboard shortcut CTRL+3 not working
-normalized autoscroll speed. Now scrolls at a constant rate per sec regardless of CPU usage
-added Scroll Album List on Inactivity option to OTHER tab
-fixed google button not working on virtual keybord
-eJukebox no longer steals focus if onscreen when executing a video game or anything else that changes the screen resolution
-sound events now disabled by default
-doubled the height of the playlist < and > buttons
-fixed autoscroll album list on inactivity always linking songlist regardless of option setting
-clicking # on the a-z bar now jumps to the first album in the album list when open

Great! The new way of doing cache is already welcomed
It forced me to a rebuild though. The asn file was the same size as before I updated, but it still loaded the two last songs I played before updating
only.
I don't mind, needed a rebuild anyway. Hope it doesn't happen for everyone though

Fishy,
Not sure why is made you rebuild...I tested it out on another system and the upgrade did not make it rebuild. Did you get the first time setup message
before it made you rebuild?
Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks for this new version Audiosoft!
The upgrade worked good for me: No need to rebuild my database.
And indeed the albumlist seems a bit more swift! But I'll test it more tonight...

Mine is faster as well...
No rebuild needed, but I clean installed from 3.99 the day before so who's to say Speaking of which I have to get a new serial # I suppose.
Fullscreen is also much happier on my end. Phew
