some requests for using in bar/pub...
First of all, I'm the audio-engineer of the Buffalos Bar at Bulach near Zurich, Switzerland. We changed the music automation software this days to
eJukebox in combination with SQR Crossfade and Sound Solution Audioprocessing.
Here my proposals (I think fairly urgent):
- in kiosk mode, it should be not so easy to open the "leave kiosk mode" window. if this happens, playlist is not visible and that's what confuse
some users.
- by clicking tool button, the menu items should be configurable by admin. (maybe i do not want that user can change skins or check for updates)
- the ejukebox2web should be also more configurable.
by accessing from Internet, there must be a password protection option. I'd to reduce the remote control possibilities (only choosing songs and see
what's playing right now - no access to the status bar of the audio file).
Not really urgent but good to have ;-):
- for bar/pubs half the battle: programmable events.
i know it is not a radio automation software ;-)
but if it's possible to set an event (i.Ex. Randomplay one of some definied files at 01.00 pm [Jingles/IDs]).
what do you think about all that things?
