Popularity Mode question
Hi, I was wondering if anybody had a quick way to either avoid or remove one particular song from popularity mode? I have a stream I'm running
with eJuke and occasionally want to drop Pink Floyd's Echoes or Alice's Restaurant in the list (1/2 hour tracks), but I don't want them
rotating through popularity mode otherwise.
Any tips?
Thanks!

I know this is not an ideal solution and may seem a little bit backwards, but, especially if you have never had time to rate your music collection in
EJ - like me - you could try this.
Give the track that you don't want to be played 100 points on the star'o'meter (five stars) Then just filter the popluarity mode to play songs with
a minimum of 0 stars and a max of 4.5 stars (95 points). Ej should then ignore all tracks with a rating of 100 (5 stars) and play the rest.
As mentioned it is a little backwards and not at all representative of your personal rating of the track, but it is the easiest.
The other way could be to change the genre and filter it out using the custom mode, but i don't think you would be able to configure it to play
everything else apart from the few long tracks you have. Handy if you just want to randomly play one or two of the genres in your jukebox though.

The best way to exclude songs from popularity mode is to turn on Custom mode and set it so it has:
Artist =
Not Title = Your songs title
Not Album = Your album
Then just make sure "Filter Against Popularity Settings" is checked and it will operate using your popularity mode settings and will exclude those
songs.
