Winamp-Desktop-Caption
A few days ago I have downloaded from WinAmp the general plugin Winamp-Desktop_Caption.exe, With a bit of puzling and mesuring I finaly got wat I
want.... BIG SCREEN at the top of eJukebox with Artist - Title. Still wonder or Audiosoft could work this out in eJ itself.. It's a nice thing
for blind people

Whis i could, but somthing strange... when i make a screendump i't's not there  , but i'm sure is see it.. . I will try to make a dump without eJukebox.. explain later when succeded.
[Edit] Realy strange... the line is there... make a screen copy (diverend ways).. but on the screen copy it doesn't show up.. so try to see it

assuming you're using xp ...
have you tried doing a print screen (tap the PrtScn button) and then opening MS Paint (start->run->mspaint) and then paste (Ctrl-V) the image
into paint?
other operating systems will be similar.

Well... i'm working for about 28 years with computers, i know how to make screen captures.. this problem is new for me... try it yourself...
it's realy something strange.

How confusing has this thread got!!??
1. Screens that arent grabbing!
2. Caption plugins that errr I cant work out what it does!
3. and NFF - I need to buy some letters as well!
Anyway Willum, sorry i am being thick, whats so great about the plugin?

For me it's nice to have the artist-song into a format i can read from a distance... should like it within EJ, and it porbably is.. but
can't find it out.
And there i use the plugin for (disable all the other things like play... pause etc)

hmmmm still cant see it - the caption looks the same size as the way eJukebox displays it. Anyway maybe instead of hassling you, i got get off my
lazy arse and try the plugin for myself
ps Good to see a load of Stones in your collection!
pps Would be great if we could export our top 10 lists and some how produce the Top 10 of all our Top 10 ie The Ultimate eJukebox Top 10. Would prove
very intesting me thinks!

willum, the print screen button worked fine as i suggested. looking at your screenshot i think u have a lot of start-up items. maybe that's why
it doesn't work for you.
i tried the plugin and agree that it is not much different than what ej has already working. besides, for me anyway, i know what i'm listening to
because i hear it.
thanks ochristmas, the stones are great summertime tunes, eh? makes the top ten by Aug. 1st everywhere i bet.
oh, tla = three letter abreviatives.

Steve, nice try, but you don't see any start-up items :-), you see Turbo Launch, and StatBar, that are the only 2 programs (besite EJ) that are
running (and the 'normal' xp stuf)

sorry, just trying to be helpful. i can only make out what appears to be 4 bars of apps .... can't tell whats running and what is just a
quicklaunch icon.
i can say it works fine here on all the computers i tried it, so i don't think it can be ej or the winamp plugin.
does the screen capture work in safe mode?
