As far as the receiving core is concerned, it seemed as if Marlon Moore out-played every other player looking to take the final of two possible open
spots on the roster. Other players vying for the fourth and fifth spot include veteran Patrick Turner, Roberto Wallace-who caught several huge passes,
and Julius Pruitt who has been almost non-existent in the preseason. Moore continued to impress, early in the final quarter, catching an 18-yard pass
from Tyler Thigpen to bring the Dolphins into scoring territory at the 11-yard line.
To seal his spot on the Dolphins roster, on fourth down, Moore caught a three-yard TD pass to give Miami a 17 to 16 lead.
But on the next drive, the Cowboys would take it down the field easily through Miami's third team defense and score a touchdown with a two-point
conversion to give Dallas a 24-17 lead.
Wide receiver Roberto Wallace gave Miami coaches something to think about, late in the game, concerning who is going to get the fifth and last spot on
the roster. Wallace came up with two big catches late in the fourth quarter including a 31-yard reception and a six-yard touchdown grab. The touchdown
gave the Dolphins a 25-24 lead after a successful two-point conversion.
