Batch Re-Color Skin Images

Photoshop ColorMatch and Batch Processing
=A fast way to re-color your EJukebox skin images:
First Clone the skin you are working with in EJukebox Tools->skin name->Clone to New Skin Name.
Now open Photoshop
Then open TopEDV.jpg from your skins EJukebox\images\skinname folder and recorded an Action in Photoshop that runs:

Image>Adjustments>MatchColor ~set open image for color -set Luminance, Intensity and Fade settings to desired effect
Save Image
Close Image
Stop recording action

Now run File>Automate>Batch in Photoshop on the skin folder using the action you just recorded and be sure to set errors to log file. every once and awhile you still have to click ok a few times when it does the batch processing. When it finishes Reload from the EJukebox Tools->skin name menu. you may need to then copy the MASK.BMP images for the play controls from the images\original to the clone

This screen is how it turned out from Silver to my match color Gold. It is not perfect as some images may need adjustments but this can be a real time saver. btw i believe you can do the same with the GIFs in the skin but you have to make a different action that first changes the mode to RGB Color then does MatchColor and then change it back to Index Color before Saving.

Also can use this method with other photoshop effects like Photo Filter etc

Audiosoft, interesting your "fast skin" method!
I suppose that only works good with a monocolor skin?
Thanks.

Pirk can be used on any skin and can adjust fade, luminance and intensity to preserve the original colors

You can get some interesting effects. Here are 2 different results after doing the batch on CrimsonLive6 with different colormatch settings

I prefer the brightened up version, the metallic effect is better.
I also noticed it is possible to use another image as source for new colors matching with your skin. that can be handy!
Thanks for this photoshop tip.
