				Breakaway Audio Enhancer

So the team that brought us Octimax and Volume Logic have released a new totally rebuilt Audio Enhancer , Breakaway:
http://www.claessonedwards.com/index.php

While I pine for a true Winamp version , One of the interesting things
the current incarnation allows is the ability to process audio from any program playing though your computer. (It just hijacks the windows mixer
output.) This includes EJ's internal player as well as YouTube clips.

Thanks for this link Cixel. I'm trying this "new" DSP.. It's like Octimax! but very interesting that this new version works in all cases with any
audio source.
Otherwise for Winamp you have the Nullsoft DSP which works great, and for free..

Yup, Same guy. He apparently rewrote the whole thing over from it's Volume Logic edition to account for some algorithms he wasn't happy with. It's
very clean and using the pipelines is definitely an interesting way to go over writing individual plugins for winamp, WMP, iTunes, etc. with the added
benefit of processing web based sources (Pandora, YouTube Etc.) I was actually using VL within winamp before playing with this.

If you want free for winamp, you could also check out 'Sound Solution"
http://www.tmsweb.dnsalias.com/SoundSol.htm

I don't think it sounds as good, but it's definitely versatile as a free plugin.
