Kiosk mode improvements II
Hi,
I purchased the ejukebox lifetime license, I think it has the best interface I have seen.
However the way I would implemented it, is having a cabinet that has 5 buttons
(up, down, left, right and enter). Most commercial jukebox have the
functionality of commanding thorugh 5 buttons. In fact I was using another software with this cabinet.
I can map each of these 5 buttons to any keys, numbers, or actions (as down arrow, up arrow, mouse
click, F11 key etc).
What I would like to be able to do is navigate and choose albums and songs
with this 5 buttons (left, right, up, down, enter)
What I need is the following:
1. Jukebox starts with focus in the carrousel (all albums listed) in home,
showing top song/artist
2. I press the right or left buttons and the shelf moves, changing the cover
that is right in front.
3. I press a enter button and the songs belonging to the album right in
front are listed in the songlist
4. with up or down buttons, songs in the songlist are highlighted
5. I press the enter button again and the song that was highlighted is put in the
playing list.
6. view returns to point 1 (home) automatically.
I am trying to do all this with macros trying to imitate the mouse
movements but is a pain in the neck. Any chance this could be integrated?
I think this will make software much more appealing for emerging markets were touchscreens are not cheap.
Thanks a lot.
Fernando.
