Have you tried scrolling to the top of the artistlist and changing the 'Show artists with x # of songs' option?

i did try that at the time, i shut ej down and restarted and it then showed up. don't know what was going on. i am doing a lot of tag editing and
that was part of the mix i was messing with. might have had something to do with it.
