New EJ User - Lots of Questions
I just downloaded the trial version, and I am eager to register for the full version. However, I have some basic questions-
1. A lot of the album art is simply wrong. The Artist / Album combination in the ID3 tag is correct, and is being displayed correctly, but the art is
wrong... for example, EJ shows "Totally Country Vol 4" for all my Beatles, Babys, Bob Seger, etc. And that's just the B's. It appears that when
I edit the song, and have EJ look up album art based on Artist / Song only, it works OK. How do I rebuild my database only using Artist / Song
combo?
2. How do I enable kiosk mode?
3. Is there a manual or documentation available?
4. Where do I adjust the volume?
5. I tried dragging and dropping art from Amazon.com into the Edit Song dialog box, and no joy. Furthermore, if I use the EJ interface to Amazon to
find album art, I get crazy search results. If I simply go right to Amazon through IE, I can find the album art. I tried dragging and dropping the
album art from Amazon through IE into the Edit Song dialog box, but it didn't take.
Does the trial version purposely do the wrong album art, or not have a help file, etc.?
EJ looks like great software, but right now I'm pretty frustrated...
Thanks!!!
Jason

Some Answers
Ok-
I found the volume control... not as obvious as I thought it might be.
I found Kiosk mode as well.
I'm still having problems with album art...

fsboswfl,
You can only drag an image from a website to eJukebox when the image is not hyperlinked. i.e. if you click the image on the site it should not do
anything. Otherwise you will be actually dragging the page link url instead of the image url.
The best thing to do to avoid this problem is: right click the image on the web and 'copy image location' then paste the image URL in the eJukebox
Song Editor under the "Use Image From..." button.
There is a user created eJukebox manual that covers a ton of features which you can download HERE: http://www.audiosoft.net/forums/viewthread.php?tid=1404
