Resize problem in full screen

Here i am again with another question..

When i want to go in full screen EJ looks like this:
http://www.home.no/nacho/other/scrnshot7.jpg

But i think the playlist and cover art takes too much space.. I would rather have more albums showing to the right..

But when i want to drag the center resize bare it looks like this: http://www.home.no/nacho/other/scrnshot8.jpg

The playlist looks fine but the problem is as you can see that the right side is resized too.. Why don't it stay all to the right?

Its the same problem if i push the maximize button..

Is there anything to do?

Try lowering your screen resolution to 1280x1024.

The reply is no. The right side is not freely resizable, it can only take 2 fixed sizes: EDV and non-EDV. You can test that pressing the "Toggle Extended Data View" button (the 2 small arrows!) situated on the top right corner of the songlist.

dang.. Just found out that the old 15" flat screen i'm gonna use for my jukebox setup in my living room only can go up to 1024x768

And then it looks like this:
http://www.home.no/nacho/other/scrnshot10.jpg

And that ai'nt cool.. Now the playlist i far to small. The cover art is a little to small, and the biggest problem is that the Songtitles in the playlist is all crumblet. Its too confusing to look at.

Then it would be nice to resize the playlist a bit so that there is only 3 rows of albums to the right..

But i can't resize at all in this resolution.. :(

Just search google a bit.. The 15" Fujitsu x151f tft is wrote to 1024x768 and thats sucks bigtime because i got it for free and it would fit perfect to its purpose.

But then i searched for the monitor i'm using right now. This is my workstation.. Its a Compaq PE1031 19" and i'm running 1600x1200. I think its nice that way. But then i searched for info on that one and found out its set to max 1280x1024. But hey, i'm going 1600x1200 huh?

So i just checked the properties and i can set it to max 1920x1440 :D :D dang that look insane hehe.. But it runs.. No flicker or anything.. Thats crazy..

Well, my point is that maybe the 15" can go over 1024x768? That would be so great.. Don't wanna use money on a new screen now..

Anyone know anything about this?

My screen is a 17" tft, its native resolution is 1280x1024, but I can't exceed this resolution. It's the black screen guaranted!
Maybe using the analog input?

Just talked with a budy, and he says i got to get a 17" to use 1280x1024 resolution.. dang that sucks..

I think the reason that i can go so far with my 19" compaq its because its a CRT. The 15" is a flat TFT.

Using the analog input? Is there different input cables on your screen or?

On mine theres just a power connecter and a AVI wire..

I will test it in near future and see what it can and can't do..

FYI...The resolution with the best eJukebox layout is 1152x864.
Your 19" CRT should be able to do that or 1280x1024.

Also, if you need to use 1024x768 you can disable ExtendedDataView to get a bigger cover and playlist area.

Below is a screenshot of eJ v3.997 (which will be released sometime this week) at 1152x864. Notice how the now playing/playlist area is nicely proportioned at that resolution.

Audiosoft has attached this image:

Hoo!? I haven't noticed it was possible to enlarge more the albumlist images!!

Great feature Audiosoft, but unfortunately the images look bad because of this enlargement.. it's a shame. Otherwise I like this new feature.

Maybe could you create bigger images in the database since the files importation? So the quality would be optimum. :)

Looks nice Audiosoft.

But i have a problem. The 15" screen i'm going to use can't go further than 1024x768 :(

I'm not using my old 19" huuuuge CRT screen.

Heres a test of my setup: http://www.home.no/nacho/other/jukebox_temp.jpg

Dont look at all the mess ;-)

I think its gonna be nice.. The 15" just need a touch with a spraycan like my 19" as you can see in the bagground. Really looks nice instead of that ugly white..

Well.. I'm about to test Media Portal. It can run both music and movies etc. Like MCE. Maybe i'm going to use that instead.. Time will show..
