How to arrange my albums side by side?
Well.. I have almost continuelsly eksperimentet with this program for two days now.. It looks so great but really giving me headache
I fell that the program control me, though I want to control the program
Here is a picture of how my EJ looks like:
http://www.home.no/nacho/other/scrnshot1.jpg
As you can see to the right where my albums are listed theres alot of space around the albums.. Why can't i use that? It would look much more cool
and i would'nt have to scroll the whole day..
If i push the options button and push "Lookup missing cover images" then it loads and then looks like this:
http://www.home.no/nacho/other/scrnshot2.jpg
Now i can see all my Prodigy albums right away without pushing the first album for it to open the others in the top of the window.. I think thats
enoiyng. And if i push the refresh button it goes back to where i can only see one album.
But under my compilations it looks like this:
http://www.home.no/nacho/other/scrnshot3.jpg
That looks nice. Exactly how i want it to look like. Can't wait to see how it looks when i get my other albums in place.
But can somebody tell me how to make it look like i want it?
It just seems so simple to me.. Like here in windows:

Everything in alphabetic order and with the cover images. It would look perfect..
God my point? Agree, disagree?
Oh and hey. One last thing. It would be great with a LOADING screen when Ej loads something. In the beginning i thought the program was hangning. I
would be nice with some clear explanation.
Ps. Sorry my bad spelling..

Re: Everything in alphabetic order and with the cover images. It would look perfect..
You can easily change the Albumlist aspect: Have you noticed the "Options" button on top of the albumlist? There is a option "Do not separate
albums by artists". I think this is what you are looking for...

Pirk is correct. Your just need to check "Do not seperate albums by artist" under the album list options and it will display the albums evenly so
they fill the whole area.

I agree. Ealier this week I updated the code for the next version so that it will show "Loading Artist List..." or "Loading Album List..." - so
that you know it is not frozen and you just need to wait a little bit. I may add a message at some point for when songlists are being loaded but that
seems like overkill to me right now.
Also, you said something about taking forever to scroll the album list. TIP: If you keep clicking the album list up/down buttons rather than hold the
buttons down it will page the list much faster.

Sounds great, BUT, it still don't work exactly as i want to. Check this:
This is how it looks after i checked the "Do not seperate albums by artist"
http://www.home.no/nacho/other/scrnshot5.jpg
But as you can see only 1 of my prodigy album shows..
If i push the lookup missing covers and then it looks like this.. Awesome
http://www.home.no/nacho/other/scrnshot6.jpg
But it doesn't stay that way.. If i hit the refresh button it goe back to "normal" where it only shows 1 of the albums..
Is there another trick for that?
And hey nice with the loading screens.. It a good thing for first time users as they might think the program is stuck or hanging.. And for a first
impression that isn't good.
Well, its getting better and better
