Web search bug
Did anyone notice that when using the eJukebox2Web client some titles can't be found? It seems to be related to song titles and album/artist
names having parentheses. The same titles can however be found using the eJuke windows client.
Example: 'Groove Armada - At The River (English Riviera Edit)'
won't be found in our database using the web when typing 'at the river' in the search box. The same title can be found when searching
for 'mtv' because the album is named 'Mtv European top 20. Volume 1.'
Any idea?
Oh yeah: we are running version 3.86.

Try adding a wildcard character before it in the 2web search like: '%at the river' .... as there may be a space before 'at' in the
title.
The 2Web search automatically adds a hidden wildcard after the search text but you need to manually enter a '%' if you want wildcards to
apply before the search term.

This used to work without wildcards
This used to work without wildcards in older versions. I can't remember ever typing 'MS Access SQL' wildcards in any search... So I
still believe it is a bug.

It is not a bug - just more restrictive so you get more relevant search results. I.E. You want to find all songs by the artist "Queen" so
you enter "Queen" in the search field...instead of returning every artist, album or song title with the word 'queen' anywhere in
it for the search like before...you will get closer results to what you wanted as it now returns only those that start with 'queen'.....as
more often than not the search term you enter will be the start of what you want to find.
You will not need to type '%' before the search unless your search term is not the start of the (artist, title, album, genre, or year) value
in the music database.
You only ran into a problem of needing to add a wildcard (really just needed to enter a space) before the search because your song title has a space
before 'at' in the mp3 tag.
