Real selective sorting for genres
It's a bit disappointing: i go to the trouble of assign some genres to my albums and, in spite of that, i still get some wrong albums in the
supposedly "filtered" albumlist when i list a specific genre:
I get some curious "new" rappers :
- Archive, because of the song "SkysRAPer"
- Eels, because of the song "Jungle TelegRAPh"
- U2, because of the song "Bass tRAP"
An also some curious new blues men:
- Eels "Electro-shock Blues"
- Moby "Natural Blues"
Or some unexpected DANCE artists:
- David Bowie because of his song "Let's Dance"
- Cure, "Last Dance"
... And there would be many other sad examples to give!
If eJukebox could exclusively look into the genre tags when we use the GENRE menu...
All the better since the genre menu concern also the Albumlist, and no more only the songlist! Even if of course i adore the filtered
Albumlist, any wrong artist albums are much more flagrant in the Albumlist! . It's ridiculous in the face of experienced public...
So i think now, that would be more logical to have a true selective sorting on genre tags, exclusively! No?
