Browse the Collection instead of search?
I am currently evaluating eJukebox2Web v2.0 for use in our office.
It seems to work great but i would like to be able to browse the mp3 collection somehow rather than just search it.
Is this an option that ive overlooked or is this planned for a future release.

This is in the works for a future version of eJukebox2Web.

Do you have an ETA on when this functionality will be released?

Depends on what we decide to implement.... Which kind of browsing functionality would you like to see first?
An Artist List, Genre listing, or something else entirely?

Don't know about the original poster, but I would say at a very minimum an artist list, and when an artist has been selected, a song listing that
also includes the star rating / popularity bar. This would be the minimum to make eJukebox2Web really useful.
At some point I would expect something a bit similar to the local interface, i.e. browse by artist, album, genre, year, newest, most popular, etc.
It doesn't have to look as pretty as the local interface (for people who want that, I think they should look into remote-controlling their
eJukebox PC via special remote control SW)
What I am looking for is a simple, functional interface, database/table-like. In other words, pretty much what you have today in eJukebox2Web, but
with browsing, and some filtering and sorting.

UP Next
I'd like to see the server show the up next song while playing in popular mode
I've also noticed the page doesn't fully show on my pocket PC. Currently I've only tested my ppc thought the computer, but plan on
buying a wifi card for it in the near future.

Yeah, an artist listing would be a good start.... The alphabet displayed, click on the letter, it shows the artist, click on the artist, ya get all
their songs.
also pagination.. when you search and get lots of results you get the first x number of results ... showing LESS results (like 20 or so) and
paginating the rest would be great.

Ok any movement on this? We have trialed this in the office - demo has expired and the office are not going to buy it because there is no browse
functionality...
Please can we get an eta on an upgrade.
Cheers

I'd love to be able to let users browse my collection and that each song can be a link to get the file from my ftp.
