basic tag question
I know this is a basic question - but does eJUkebox ever change the mp3 tags. I know it stores popularity data in it but does it ever change the album
title etc; All my tags are 100% right and I dont want eJukebox doing anything with them. Some (well lots) of the album covers are completely wrong and
I am worried in case it changes the tags as well. If eJukebox does change them can I stop it from doing so?
Thanks in advance!

No, as much as you don't edit them manually with the editor (by a right click one each song name) eJukebox don't change anything. The
changes in the ID3 tags are always made under control of the user, aside from the popularity count and ratings.
In the same way, each time YOU put an image it is saved in the ID3 tags. Luckily, your wrong looked up images are only in your database!

many thanks Pirk!
One other thing - is it possible to use another copy of eJukebox for my other machine downstairs? eitherway is it possible that they both run off the
same database?
Thanks again!
ps the email notification of new replies does seem to work for me!

Hmm... That will not work. The registration code works only on the hard-drive where you have installed the copy you have registred. But if you have
already paid for eJukebox, you can always try to ask that to Audiosoft...
Otherwise, maybe you can possibly make a copy of your database for the second machine. Copy the 2 files ejuke.asn and db.m3u, and your mp3s. Or else
rebuild a new database on the second machine, it's the normal way.
In case you have a local network I can't help you because I am not experienced.
Thanks.
