Playing HD ALAC files stopped working
Hi
I have quite a few albums in ALAC format (aka .mp4).
Some are 16bit@44kHz some 24bit@96kHz.
Both types have been playing just fine until yesterday.
Now the 16/44 files will play, the 24/96 will not:-(
Are more precisely it LOOKS like they're playing, but the only sound coming out are some short scratchlike peaks with irregular intervals
(seconds).
I suspect some update to have caused this.
I found that there was an update to Silverlight a few days ago.
Tried to uninstall Silverlight - no success.
Then I tried installing the latest version of the K-lite codecs - still no success.
I restarted both EJukebox and Windows between these steps.
Any ideas?

Duh!
It turned out that a portion of these files somehow were damaged.
Fortunately, I maintain the files in several copies, so I just threw out the corrupted files.
I actually also found out, that I can play 24bit@192kHz files as well - of course I don't get the benefit of the better quality than 24bit@96kHz, as
my soundcard does not support that high resolution - but I don't need to convert these files to a poorer quality to play them
