EJ Respect Winamp Playlist?
Is there any way presently (or future option) to have EJ read what's in the Winamp playlist periodically and populate the EJ now playing window OR to
not wipeout the existing winamp list if it's in auto-play mode?
Here's what I'm running into...
I'm trying to run a native winamp remote on my android
(aWARemote, which looks pretty great so far as it caches all the album covers via winamp to the local device)
If I load up an album, Winamp loads all the tracks (say 10) and starts playing. When it gets to song 2 though, it will play that next track, but then
will wipe out everything underneath that was in the now playing window and inserts the next automatic song.
I realize it's non-standard usage, but is there any way anyone can think of to get around this? Are there alternatives you all are using?

Cixel, it's easy:
Options/Playlist > Play Mode > you Uncheck ALL the 3 Mode Buttons on Top. Then EJ will just follow Winamp passively. EJ will only monitor Winamp
for the correct song title and album cover.
EJukebox is born doing that with Winamp, since 2002!

Hahaha-
Wow. I never knew that was a toggle. How interesting.
The only thing is that I WANT EJ to auto-populate winamp if there's _nothing_ in the playlist =)
What do you have to say to _that_

Hehe...
I understand it's confusing.
Perhaps it's more of a feature request then.
I would like EJ to Autoplay when there is only 1 song left in the Winamp playlist.
I'm trying to use a native Android remote that controls winamp and if I load a playlist, winamp populates the full list, but then after the next
song, EJ wipes it out. I would like to hear the playlist I entered, but then have EJ do it's wonderful autoplay when nothing is left so the music
does not stop.
We've been trying to use 2web, but it's not passing the WAF test, so I'm trying to look for alternatives.

Ah OK, i think i understand a bit more now.. I hope you will pass the AAF test! (Audiosoft Acceptance Factor!)
Maybe you could find an autoplay mode plugin for Winamp that runs when the Winamp playlist is empty?

If the answer were that easy I wouldn't be asking here =)
Even so, there something about the way EJ populates the playlists that is great

To close the loop, I did come up with a sort of compromise
I'm using 2 plugins:
Ampr2 to auto-populate an 'up next' from a playlist
http://ampr.ophenix.org/
And Playlist File Remover to get rid of the previously played track
http://nunzioweb.com/daz/plfr.html
I lose the ability to go back to the previous song once it's deleted, as well as popularity mode, but at least this way I can leave EJ in 'slave
mode' let others control with an 'external' remote.

This looks like a custom job to me. This would need a serious coder to make this task possible.
Not sure if someone can pull this off though.
