Scheduled database updates: BE CAREFUL!
Audiosoft, I planned a Database update in the new Scheduler. end this evening it started automatically at the planned hour. So i let it go... Serious
Mistake! It seems EJ scanned ALL my HDs and not only the defined folders!!!!!! There are now Tonnes of "bad" songs in the database.
If you could fix that, keeping my music folders like I set them when I build my Database the first time.

Pirk did you define the scan's folder path in the Scheduler?
if not click the ... button
hmm maybe i need to make it add a \ at the end

No. but then i think you should write something in the Path URL: like "All HDs". so users will be warned!
I thought if i change nothing, EJ will keep my previous folders... nope!

ah ok guess will have to add a helper caption that says to select the folder path otherwise it will search all drives.

ok.
I noticed the dialogue box used to enter the path are great looking, but impossible to select a folder! so copy/past worked..
the task "shutdown ejukebox" doesn't work! i'm testing this feature since 2 days..
do you think these scheduled tasks will be OK?
