Missing covers in Win7
Hey Guys,
OK, I downloaded the latest .exe (5.06) file as it is suggested on some other posts and I am still missing almost all of my album covers.
Do I have to rebuild my database? It is a real pain with well over 50000 songs!
Let me know what I need to do to fix this problem.
Thanks!

Hey davespizza!
You need either, cover.jpg or folder.jpg file in each album folder, or images in your ID3 Tags. You can also let eJukebox find album covers while you
play music connected to the web.

Right click a song from the album with missing cover in EJukebox and Edit Song
There you can change the album image and SetImage4All songs in the album
or as Pirk said placing a cover.jpg or folder.jpg in the album's folder will do the trick. you don't have to rebuild the entire database just the
folder. do tools->update database->clean/refresh->rebuild folder

OK, I forgot to mention that I DID have all the albums before when I first installed the program on Win 7 and it was fine for a few months.
And yes, it is installed on the root of the C drive (C:\ejukebox).
SO where to now?

Download the upgrade 5.05?
OK, not sure what you mean at this point. So please clarify.
I was already running at 5.05 when I installed the program on Win7. It worked fine (with all the album covers) for the last few months).
Now almost all the album covers are gone and that is when I tried installing the upgrade of 5.06 to no effect.
The rebuild of the database did not help and has only ruined my current top played list.
So, is this 5.05 file you mention different then what I already had?

ok forget that then 5.05 will not work.
does the auto cover lookup in the song editor work?
wait and i will put up 5.07 download on the forum
that will work if you rebuild and it will ensure the covers stay

Audiosoft, I noticed something "new" since your 5.07: sometimes eJ displays a empty frame instead of a cover or the no cover image.
