Splash screen frozen at Loading Options.
when I tried to use it today it just froze on the splash screen when it says 'loading settings'. No settings changed. Been working for a long while.
tried reboot. XP. ejukebox cpu usage 99%. v4.90

what version? 4.90 or 5 beta?
Edit C:\Program Files\eJukebox\ejukebox.ini
Try changing the following then restart eJukebox.

Enabled=1 or 0

I believe the getting stuck at options problem was resolved in one of the 5.0 betas. please try the eJukebox 5 beta 16 download at the end of the

Download and run results in 2 boxes flashing by quickly after the Continue spash screen and finally a flashing box Error Copying file. Run from link
(not save) does the same thing.

MP3 junky, before you run it you must first move the ejukebox.exe file you downloaded to C:\Program Files\eJukebox\ejukebox.exe and replace over
the old ejukebox.exe file.

V5 beta 17 loads the same way. Spash screen V5 beta 17 and pauses at the loading options.

Try this: Make sure winamp.exe and ejukebox.exe are not running in taskmanager then rename C:\Program Files\eJukebox\ejukebox.ini to
ejukeboxBACKUP.ini and then start eJukebox. Your database will be the same but you will be reset to default options. See if it starts OK now.
Then if you want upload/attach your backup ini and I will check to see if can figure out what went wrong before so maybe I can help you restore your
old options and have eJukebox fix the value automatically next time.

I renamed the ejukebox directory and reinstalled 4.90. Install Searched/built my music database and after building the database spash screen and same
problem at loading options. Installed v5 b17. Same problem. winamp or ejukebox was not running (taskmgr) when I did the rename.

if you have winamp installed try this:
open winamp
run eJukebox
what is your screen resolution?
if you have winamp installed...does winamp ever start to load automatically when eJukebox freezes on options?
if it was working before did you change something else on the system or install anything new?

1024x768. Touchpen t3010 2gb XP SP2. I did see other posts about resolution and tried 800x600.
Nothing new added since this is my only primary jukebox machine. Maybe a MS upgrade or new songs would be the only thing added.
I can minimize the number of songs (older ones I have had working) and reinstall new (new database) if that would help.

starting winamp then ejukebox resolves the issue. v4.90 or beta 5 17.

I noticed also now Ejukebox starts properly (exit and start it again). Winamp is closed and started properly. Weird.

ok good. next rime you run eJukebox it should startup good without you needing to start winamp first since it now has the correct winamp folder path
in the ejukebox.ini. if it happens again then End winamp.exe in taskmanager, run winamp and then eJukebox so that it is able to setup the ini path
automatically

Stuck at Loading Options
Since upgrading to Beta 32 now my system hangs at 'Loading Options' the below suggestions works for me.
