Crossfading In Media Player

I've seen a post in the forums (http://www.audiosoft.net/forums/viewthread.php?tid=2131#pid76782) saying that crossfading is not possible when Media Player is selected as the playback device. Is this still the case as I can't get it work? Also, is this another Microsoft "feature" or something that will be rectified in a later release of eJukebox?

There is a possibility down the line if Microsoft introduces the appropriate APIs in the next version of windows media player.
For now if you want crossfading you will need to use eJukebox with Winamp.
