Incompatible IE7 settings problem.
Iīm installing 4.89 for the first time, on my new laptop. Thing is, I bought the computer in Mexico, and all the menus are in Spanish. And my
Spanish isnīt so good.
So, I tried to follow the EJ instructions, and change my IE settings. Really, I think I tried every option that could possibly translate as "allow
status bar updates via script", but none of them worked.
Any suggestions?
btw, if anyone knows how to change all my menus to American English, that would be even better!
Thanks!

I am not sure what the Spanish translation is...
Try checking Enable on the 7th option from the bottom of the list after clicking Custom Level.

For XP
To change the language used for menus and dialog boxes
Open Regional and Language Options in Control Panel.
On the Languages tab, under Language used in menus and dialogs, click the language you want.
If it's Vista maybe someone else can give you the commands.
