Font Size?
Well I upgraded my monitor so I can do 1280x1024 and the Jukebox does look better. But not the now playing list is too small to read. Is there a place
to go to change this or a .dis file I can adjust?
BTW, right clicking and choosing font size does no good. It is on xtra large and for some reason can't be changed. You choose small and nothing
happens and it stays saying xtra large.
Thanks

Don,
The right click font menu only works with the Default skin.
For other skins you can change the size of the fonts in the playlist by editing the playlist.dis file (using notepad) located in the "C:\Program
Files\eJukebox\images\SkinName\" folder.

Audiosoft,
It IS the default skin. In fact not only can't I change the font size in the default skin, I cannot change skins. I choose tools skins and change to
"silvertunes". The ej screen goes away. A little box pops up saying "loading default skin" and then ej pops back just as it was.
I don't know if this helps, but I have a new problem where it plays the same song every time I start. Always the same song, and then comtinues the
playlist from last time. It only started that after 404. Is something corrupt?
I did go into the skins folder and saw the archives with the three sizes, but what is inside is so confusing. Can anyone point out the pertinent lines
I would change to increase the size of the title and artists in the Up Next List? I guess if I can't change skins I probably can't effect any change
to these files either.
Thanks
Don

After reading my post it hit me that a file could be read only. Sure enough after grabbing the whole ej directory and making it NOT read -only (it
showed some files were!) I can now change my skin, change the font size and ....the song isn't stuck there anymore. Yea! I will leave this post here
in case someone else has the problem.
I still can't figure out how to make the font larger than default xtra large. You modify the songlist-xl.dis file? Where in the file?
Thanks!

Dyno Don,
You need to change the lines "FONT-SIZE: x px;" everywhere you want larger fonts: In .artistshow and .artistshowhi for the artist column. In .title,
.titlehi and .titleedithi for song titles... I think that should be quite easy for you since all is in English! Imagine if that was in French..
Each time you change something you can see the result immediatly just refreshing the songlist, clicking on the album cover for instance. If the result
is not perfect, change again and again until you have found the best values for you.
NB: Be careful, the default skin is rewritten each time you update eJukebox! So either you put again your own values, or you create a new folder
\images\Dyno Don\ where you put your own version of the songlist-xlarge.dis file: That will be your first skin, visible as "Dyno Don" skin in the
skin menu!

Pirk,
Thanks for the help, but the values you mention are in songlist.dis. Changing them changes the songlist, the panel on the right. I want to make the UP
NEXT and Playlist titles and artists bigger. Which file do I modify for that?
Thanks again

Ah.. OK, sorry Don. So in this case you need to edit the PLAYLIST.dis file.
First I would advise you to create a new folder \images\Dyno Don, where you edit a copy of the original playlist.dis file. Your first skin...
For the UP NEXT song and artist names you need to change the font-size in the .pmnextsongleft part.
For the playlist titles and artist names, you need to change the font-size in the following places:
.playlist1
.playlist0
.playlisthi
.playlisthinew
.playlistmoveup1
.playlistmoveup0
.playlistmovedn1
.playlistmovedn0
Put the same font-size everywhere..
And to display SEVERAL Album COVERS in the playlist, a trick: you just add .cover1, .cover2..
Hmm no, I joke that is not possible yet! This is the next work of
Audiosoft..

Pirk,
That was it, thanks! I made a new skin and have modified the two files so it is readable on my 1200x1600 Monitor.

Good!
Congratulations for your 1200x1600 monitor! So it seems you use it vertically with eJukebox, I'm right?

Yeah, thanks!
In fact I also have a adjustable lcd monitor, but a smaller one: only 17"! I can run eJukebox vertically in 1024x1280. That way there is already more
free space for the albumlist under the songlist. But in 1200x1600, I'm sure that should be even better!!
Maybe I will buy a such monitor, finally?!
