Cached Artist List
Audiosoft, I have a major problem! I have two eJs as you know, one running videos, and one running audio. The new version of eJ is cross polluting the
artists lists!!!! Really bad. If I run the audio first, and then run videos, it mixes the videos artists with the audios artists, completly ruining
the build. I have to go back to a good working 3.99 to get rid of it. I am sure it has something to do with Caching the artist list. Can this be
turned off? I have to stay at 3.999 for now....
These are two different installations on the same box running different versions of winamp. That changed too in 404. It wants to run the copy of
winamp in c:\program files\winamp. But I don't use that one. I use specific installs for eac eJ. It used to handle it no problem. Once associated
with the winamp I want, it stays and starts it every time. Now, not so good.
Thanks!
Don

Nothing changed with the Winamp handling so do not know why that changed for you. I can see how the artist list caching is a problem with 2
installations on the same machine. To get around the problem now you will just need to change the "Select Artists with X Songs" at the top of the
artistlist and then change it back. For the next version, I will make eJukebox detect if it is running from a different location (other than the last
session) and make it refresh the artistlist on startup accordingly.
