Importing existing winamp playlist not working
Help.... I love your program.
Looks great, I use the artic skin. The only thing that doesn't seem to work is using existing winamp playlists when I open one nothing happens. They
work fine if I use them outside ejukebox, any suggestions.
Thanks
Steve
you really should go explaing the features at the BYOAC forums they have a whole section there on the various jukebox's. I will do my best to show
them how great you're program is.

Welcome to the forums!
Glad you like the skin
Have you tried to push the menu button ---> load playlist? I don't use this feature very often, but as far I can remember it should work.
What's the url for that forum? Could be interesting reading and maybe I could brag a little about ejukebox as well

Have you tried several different playlists? Are they in m3u or pls format? Seems to work fine here. Just loaded a huge one with 5 albums. Are you sure
the playlist you're trying to load correctly points to your songs path?

Yep tried all of my play lists. They work fine by them selves load right into winamp5. I am using version 3.98 of ejukebox on winxp everything else
works great.
Here is how my playlists are stored.
Songs C:\mp3\80s
playlist C:\mp3\playlists
I even copied one of the playlists over to the default ejukebox playlist folder, no luck
Thanks for the help

Hmm probably more work finding out of this then creating new playlists from ejukebox then. Just drag things over from explorer to the ejukebox
playlist and save the playlist from within ejukebox. It would be weird if those playlists also didn't work.
However this is a little strange, because playlist created in both winamp and ejukebox works like a charm over here. Sorry that I can't give you any
further help on this

Okay I loaded a few songs and saved them as a play list in Ejukebox. Took a look at the playlist and compared it to what winamp's version looks
like.
Winamp uses relative path names for example
\mp3\80s\depechemode - just can't get enough.mp3
Ejukebox saves as absolute path names
C:\mp3\80s\depechemode - just can't get enough.mp3
as an experiment I removed the c: out of the ejukebox generated playlists and sure enough, ejukebox didn't recognize it anymore.
Would be better if ejukebox could handle winamp generated playlists.
Hopefully this can be added/fixed in the next release
Thanks
Steve
