Could you add wave pack support

Wavepack is a open source lossless format that uses ID3 tags. Unlike WMA lossless it is truly lossless and works with DTS and Dolby 5.1 too. It has a winamp plugin, more info here:
http://www.wavpack.com/

Please, please, please could you add support, the files already work if I play them manually so all that is needed is support for the .WV file ending.

What advantages/disadvantages does Wavepack have over other lossless formats such as Monkey's Audio & FLAC? I read a bit of the website you provided, but didn't see any direct comparisons to the two formats I mentioned.

Thanks,
Steve

Not the easiest to answer but here goes.

Advantages Over FLAC:
True Open Source with no commercial restrictions
It supports Flotaing Point Samples (I Dont understand this one)

Advantages over APE:
Supports upto 8 channels (Ape only 2) and hence can offer some future support for surround formats.
