Not a bug? Or is it
Dyno Don - 7-1-2005 at 08:55 PM

Now in 3.98 when I start to type a album name in the editor, eJ immediatly starts the browser and looks for what I typed. It used to wait for me to click "info" first. Even if I "paste" and album title in, it immediatly opens a search. It pops up and then I can't click the next song to edit with out going "back". Very annoying. I found that by changing it to "open a separate browser window" instead of inside eJ, the first time the window pops up I send it to the back, behind eJ. After that every time I edit a album title, I hear the browser clicking as it opens another window back there, but at least I can continue editing. After I close eJ, the browser is there waiting for me to close it just once. Am I the only one who sees this? Or is bothered by it?

Thanks, and great product Audiosoft. A third friend just bought a license.

Thanks Dyno Don...yes that is a bug and it has been fixed for the next release.

Audiosoft. It is quite annoying. I can only type one character at a time in the album box. Each letter makes IE pop up and the focus goes there. Anything I can do to stop it until your update? Long album names take forever to type in.

H "click" E "click" L "click" P "click".

Thanks
Don

Tell you what I will recompile v3.98 to include the fix and upload it in a couple minutes. I'll post here to let you know when it is ready

OK...just updated the official v3.98 downloads to include the following 2 fixes:

-got rid of the status message that were getting stuck in the editor
-fixed bug in the editor that brought up the 'info' button web link every time the album name text was changed

You can grab the upgrade from the audiosoft.net/download.htm page

Thanks, Audiosoft. Very fast response.

In another thread I discuss my video Jukebox. I have to fix by hand quite a few videos. Thanks again!
