If you select a custom background image, exit eJ, then move, save or delete this background file - eJ won't start up.

You then have to edit the eJukebox.ini , find the line saying
bgimage0= then change the path to something valid.

I trust this is something you'll fix in the next version, so eJ will boot with the default background if the custom is missing.
