Don' think they can optimize it much, except maybe display the rendering
of graphics, instead of everything popping up when completed. If that won't work, then a small progressbar could be helpful.
If I click on "Popular" nothing goes on. No reaction of the program it hangs.
It can take up 'till five seconds, or at least it used to, when i had a slower machine... you mean it completely freezes, and you have to shut down the program by force?
first i thought at hangs totaly, now i find out it takes about 5-10 seconds (I have a Barton 2500 and 512 DDRam). I won't use popular, it's really too slow.

my problem is, that i can open the popular view, but there everything seems to be wrong. the icon in front of the titles has changed to an unspecified
one in contrast to the winamp-icon in the album view.
the titles can't be added to the playlist, if i click on one, nothing happens... :-/
