Clear playlist problem (minor!)
ochristmas - 9-15-2003 at 07:30 PM

Minor thing ive just noticed.

If you have a large playlist created and are on the last page in the "up next" page and then click "clear play list" and add some music (lets say four songs) eJ keeps the number of pages - so all you see is a blank page in the up next and an left arrow button (previous page). You then have to click back 30 odd times to get back to the beginning where your tracks are then displayed, eJ works out whats going on and removes the extra pages....

phew!!! sorry if this has already been noted!

Woo Hoo! Thats great! That is a problem. Comes a time when no songs are visible even tho the count shows many yet to play. Another problem/request. Everyone likes to see what is next. If I have a list going, the next playing song showing, and someone adds one song, we go to the bottom of the list to where the song was added. You then have to arrow back up to the top to see Next Playing. Some may want to see the end, but we do not. If they are unsure they actually selected a song, they can do it again. eJ only adds it once.

As long as we are discussing the playlist....When you are ready to just let all the music play in your list, you decide to randomize as several folks have picked songs. A newbie clicks menu then goes down to randomize. He isn't the best mouser in the world ...and look... CLEAR PLAYLIST is right next to randomize. Oops! That's too bad. What songs did we pick?
Maybe make it harder to hit clear or move it further away from randomize?

Thanks
Don

Very good point. The best would be if we would still go to the bottom of the list but only for a short while. Then it should go back to the top, maybe after X seconds, or at the very latest when the next song starts playing.

Demnos,

That would be the best. Show the end of the list for X seconds then back to the top of the playlist.

Very good idea! I would like that too.
