Uppercase after scandinavian letters
Haavard - 9-9-2003 at 02:18 AM

First of all, sorry if this is a double-post. I know there has been a few posts concerning auto-capitalization, but I havent found any about this exact problem. Here goes:

eJukebox totally screws up words containing scandinavian letters (åøæö, etc.). My name, for example, ends up as "HåVard". I've disabled auto-capitalization, but that doesn't stop the bug from occuring in the program itself (in the genre-list, for example)

Hehe, i posted a similar thread two days ago, but didn't get any replies, so i'm glad you brought it up. (The link to my post is <here>)

By the way, i was left wondering, which genres do you have that contains special characters?

Well... I've never really used genres before, but yesterday I got bored and started making up my very own genres. I got as far as 16 Horsepower and the genre "Ørkenpop" (Desert pop) before i ran into trouble. :)

Also, everything will be okay if you just update the database (options, the button right next to the kiosk mode-button) and make sure that case fixing is turned off. (checkbox)

I bet... but i enjoy the case fixing working its magic for all the rest of my mp3's... i want both the case fixing and my weird characters to appear normal. :)

By the way, desert pop was a brilliant genre. :D
