so i finally updated from beta 40 something to 5.19 today and now all i see is white.

i uninstalled everything and reinstalled, made sure i had the latest flash 10.1 and still just white..

it starts up like that? then what crashes? anything happen when you click the Home button?



also what version of Windows are you using?
Are you installed to C:EJukebox or some place else?

right after install it went to the load new music option, when i selected a folder it read the files but once it finished finding them (before adding them) ej just closed, no error message.
i started it back up and i get the white. i go to update database and it finds and adds the music, but all i see is the white.
the only time it crashed was at the beginning right after install and after the first look for media.

i might add that it will play the songs.. i just can't see anything.

edit.. i take that back.. it only plays the first song that it loaded up.. the next/previous buttons don't work either.

and it did add the folders that i selected after i had restarted ej as you can see in the image

i had the same setup when running the beta earlier today.

doesn't seem to do anything when right clicking

going to search and hitting google does bring up the google.com page within ej.

another odd thing, i went to minimize ej and the pop up came up with album art... although the wrong album art for the song but still it had something there.

Do Tools->A5 Blue->Color Picker
and let me know if anything shows up or you get an error

tried installing and get "This windows script is for a different hardware platform" assuming that was a 32 vs 64 issue?

yeah its probably not the right installer for 64 bit windows
the SysWOW64 is actually 32 bit files go figure
well it doesn't matter as it looks like it is installed.
but maybe not registered

ok shutdown EJukebox and save this v5.192 exe over your old file in C:EJukebox

ok it must not be returning the path

replace this over the old C:EJukeboxejukebox.exe
right when you start this an EJ Debugger window should popup
please copy the path in it and paste it in your reply

the start screen says v5.193
let me know if you don't get the EJ Debugger window.
If not or the path in the debugger is corrupted then we have located the source function where the problem is occurring.

and just playing around i found a couple other oddities.
if i go to 'albums' click on search and enter anything in the field it crashes ej

if i have Direct show selected vs winamp, it plays fine but if i select on the previous or next buttons a few times it also crashes.. seems to work fine if winamp is selected.

Do tools->about and make sure it says v5.193

confirmed.

this one should fix it since the beta worked on the same system
