I have some chinese mp3s, and tried to play them in eJuke. eJ can display them in the artist and album panels, but can not correctly display them in
the playlist, and if I try to play them, eJ will crash.
is there a way to fix this?
I will try to fix it. Can you please attach / post one of your Chinese mp3s so that I can test with it?
Hi, Audiosoft,
sent you A 4MB file, hope not too big.
This file can be played in eJ if you rename it to an English name, but eJ still cann't display correctly in the playlist because it's tagged in
Chinese. I also found out eJ has problem with any music in a Chinese named folder.
My system is English WinXP with Chinese fonts installed. I set "Chinese (PRC)" in winxp's "Language for Non-unicode Programs" (Regional and
Language advanced tab)
Thank you for sending the mp3 for testing. Unfortunately when it arrived the Chinese characters were stripped out of the file name. I will try changing the Language for Non-unicode Programs to Chinese in XP and will get back to you.
