eJukebox registration times out...
junk - 6-1-2003 at 02:13 AM

I bought eJukebox, registered it, and it ran fine for three weeks or so... until one day, i got the message:

"You seem to have set the clock back" or something. Suddenly i got a new validation code, the registration code i had paid for did not work anymore, and i could not run eJukebox. I still can't, as I haven't recieved a new code from Audiosoft yet.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Luckily not. Strange reaction for a registred product! I never have that without reason like the reinstallation of my hard drive.
Are you sure it was correctly registred? (when you start eJ the black splash box doesn't appear once registred)
But if you have paid for eJukebox, they will certainly send back to you a new registration code very soon.

Yes, it is strange. And yes, i am quite sure it was registered. I typed in the code i got after i had paid (i can't remember if i got a message saying "thank you for registering" or anything similar), but the splash box disappeared after that. Everything seemed all right, and I was sure I had registered until i got the "You have set your clock back" error.

This just in:

I just got an email from audiosoft, hope they won't mind me pasting the content:

"Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
We recently installed a SPAM filter which inadvertantly treated your
messages as SPAM. After seeing your post in the Forums I thought to
search the SPAM folder and found your messages and some other important
ones. Again I am very sorry for the delay. You should have received a
reply to the last email you sent with your new registration code."

And they have. They also mention they are going to fix this problem for the next version of eJukebox. Very good, i am happy again. :)

Ahh...very well, happy end for you!
And I hope also for the others who have sent an email to Audiosoft.
