Lately I've come across several mpc's that seem to use Ape V2.0 tags. When imported (read) to ejukebox, ej uses the usual tracknumber-albumname system to store them in the database. The weird thing is that if I edit these tags through the ejukebox editor, the changes I make in the tags are not lost on rebuild.

This must mean that ej supports this tagsystem somehow? At least it support writing to them, or my changes would have been lost after a rebuild?

Any chance that ej could read this taginformation right away, when they are imported into the database? So I don't have to edit these kind of files twice ?
