My plasma works in 856x480 (16:9) which isn't far from 800x600 but enough to make album covers look very strange in full-screen mode!

Any chance of fullscreen being able to cope with this resolution in the future?

Did it come with any software that might let you bring in the sides a little bit?

Not a perfect solution, but it might make it look a little more attractive w/ your album covers.
