Hey Guys,
I've spent weeks making sure that my MP3 tags are correct with TagNRename. It'd be real nice if I could override eJukebox from doing any
lookups, and have it just use the IDv2 tag in the MP3.
Is this possible?
Best Regards, Jason
If your song has an Album name in the ID3 tag eJukebox will first attempt to find an album cover image with that album name...if it fails to find one
it will then use the Artist and Songtitle to find an album/image that contains that song.
I think we will be adding an option to disable this 2nd lookup if the first one fails.
Also, if you have ID3 Images in your ID3 Tags eJukebox will import them on database building and use them instead of looking up images.
If that's the case, then I have some MP3s that have IDv2 tags that don't appear to be being read correctly. The tags have been produced with Dr.Tag and TagNRname!
See the post: Problems with album names
Could this the same problem you are experiencing?
Hey,
Im actually having problems with artist names and song titles not coming from the tags.
On another note, I ripped a KD Lang CD using Nero, and added tags with TagNRename. When I add this folder to eJukebox, it loops -- 99% of CPU being
used. I have left it for an hour hoping it was a cleanup of some sort, but nothing.
Am happy to make these mp3s available for you to look at!
Regards, Jason
Are adding these files to eJukebox outside of doing a database update??
Meaning adding them by putting them in the eJukebox playlist or playing them in winamp.
If this is the case we have fixed a bug where the ""New Mp3. Adding to Database..." message gets stuck - in v3.0 Beta 2. New songs
added that way are now added to the database immediately.
v3.0 Beta 2 also adds the ability to Rip CDs to fully tagged Mp3s automatically in eJukebox - so you will no longer need to use Nero and Tag &
Rename for this.
You can download v3.0 Beta 2 from the link in the "General Discussion" Forum.
