I currently use siglos karaoke player pro for my karaoke, which makes it a pain swapping progs everytime someone wants to sing a song. Would be great
if Ejukebox supported all the karaoke formats, with the video/words in the "now playing" area or full screen on double click (*.cdg, *.mcg, *.mp3+g,
etc...) Que them just like it does with music. That way ejuke would revert to playing music when not used for karaoke. And anyone can pick a song to
sing and put it in the que. A search feature and a menu item on ejukes main display to show karaoke only would ba a big plus.
This may also open a new market for Audiosoft.
Any more ideas??

EJukebox might be able to handle karaoke with a codec like this: http://www.fileguru.com/Power-CD-G-Filter/download
i want to try that codec but i am having a hard time finding a karaoke file to test with it. could you attach a CD+G and a MP3+G for me to test with?
+1 on this. I'd like to see this codec added by default. Any thoughts on when this might be possible?
EJukebox v5.74
-adds support for .cdg karaoke files provided you have a direct show filter installed like this one http://www.powerkaraoke.com/src/prod_powercdgfilter.php
FYI you must check "Include Video Files" if you want them to import cdg from Tools->Update Music Database.
You can also drag the cdg files to the playlist to add them.
there is a bug where files from windows explorer can only be dragged in after EJ plays one song...so hit >> if they do not drop in and try
dragging them from explorer to the playlist again.
