I have an idea for a feature that may be useful; My MP3s reside on a linux server on the network. Whenever I have to build the database it takes quite awhile. I'm sure if I had the ability to run the database prep on the system local to the files it would run much quicker. Perhaps write a small program to prep the database files that can be ported to linux and windows. This way anyone with mp3s that are remote to the system that is using Ejukebox would have that option. It's not too bad for me, but I am sure for people with a huge library of music it would be a big time saver.
