I have a number of decade (70s, 80s, etc.) compilations and many of the songs overlap with CDs I have. I read in a previous post that you can't link songs from different albums to 1 file because of ID3 tags. So, my idea would be to allow dead song placeholders in an albums songlist. Here's an example:
After selecting the album 70's Rock Classics Disc 1 you see:

1. Mississippi Queen - Deleted. Can be found here.

When creating the placeholder you could enter the band name for the link so you could be taken there. If the song was deleted because you didn't like it, it just wouldn't have the link.

The reason I would like to be able to do this is to clear out duplicate songs, but keep the songlists on all my albums. I know the mastering levels will be different, but I use the program as a jukebox (hence the name) and rarely play songs from the same album back to back.
