When you say the tags appear fine in other programs. Which ones are you talking about?

Ejukebox does not seem to store metadata as part of the music file itself like some other programs do (correct me if I'm wrong here)

I assume ejukebox will pickup data from the ID3 tag if it's there (again I may be wrong here) but if the other program(s) you use also store metadata separatley from the music file then it will not show up in ejukebox.

Audiosoft - 5-16-2006 at 06:09 PM

eJukebox has full MP3 ID3v1 and ID3v2.x tag read/write support.
Non MP3 files do not have tag support yet. For non mp3's eJukebox uses the file name to get the artist and title information.

So for extensions other than .MP3 you can name the files:
(track) - artist - title.???
or
track - artist - title.???
or
artist - title.???

eJukebox will also import the folder name as the album name including the cover art when there is a cover.jpg or folder.jpg image in the folder.

http://loganloganlogan.t35.com/

First image you see how ejukebox read the tag

artist: 18 wrong thats the song number
title: leg that one is ok
but no genre and no year or track number

second image the same mp3 that ejukebox is playing in winamp
winamp see that tag the right way

third one is in tag rename were i fix all my tag

in that one the tag is also ok

so why in ejukebox you see the wrong tag
?????
How ejukebox go and gets the tag
Not all my mp3
i got 280 albums ok
but 150 not ok

Have you changed these mp3 tags outside of eJukebox since you setup the database? If so you will need to rebuild the whole database or a folder at a time from the Tools menu -> "Update Database" in order for the tag changes to be read in.

Logan - 5-19-2006 at 10:51 AM

No i did not make a tag change
The tag were already like that when i put them in ejukebox
i did a rebuilt or new database and i have the same result
and i did do folder by folder and i have still the same problem
