Here's a thought...

What about the ability to synchnonize playlists between two instances of eJukebox? Perhaps a master / slave situation?

As I'm getting ready to move into a new place, I'm looking at the concept of whole house audio. I love my Ejukebox setup because of the interface and the fact that I can use my winamp pluging like my crossfade and volume leveler.

But what I'd love to do is utilize my existing box in my basement, but put another in the living room that could either play its own music, or better yet share the same playlist. Even better, what if both could add to a collective playlist between the two machines if they were in "link" mode.

Feasable?

While you cannot synchronize 2 eJukebox playlists, you should be able to link a slave Winamp to the master Winamp of eJukebox by using this Winamp plugin:

http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=102263

That way you can build your playlist on the master eJukebox and the slave will play the same music. You can even run eJukebox on the slave as it will display whatever Winamp is playing. The only thing you cannot do is to set up a playlist on the eJukebox slave...

Interesting. Thanks for the heads up. I'll test it out when I get home, and let y'all know how it turns out.
